Yes, these items are permitted and recommended for general spectator seating. These items are subject to search. If you have purchased an upgraded Flight Deck ticket or have a VIP ticket, seating will be provided in these areas and you will not need to bring your own
Services for the Disabled
Parking
Handicapped license or tag holders should take W. Everett M. Dirksen Pkwy to Johanson Road.. Turn South on Johanson Road where you will be directed to the parking lot located near the Main Gate.
Environment
Because the Air Show happens in the air, viewing is available throughout the facility. While no designated seating exists for the disabled, the site IS accessible. A large portion of the Air Show Spectator Area is on hard, flat surfaces. Keep in the mind that the Air Show covers a large amount of real estate and patrons should be prepared to traverse a significant distance in the process of getting into and out of the Air Show site.
Bathrooms
Restroom facilities for the disabled are available and typically found at the ends of the large banks of portable toilets.
Shuttles
The Free Air Show Shuttles allow you to take a load off and get you where you need to go on the show grounds. This service is great for families and the physically challenged.
Sight Impaired
Seeing eye dogs ARE permitted at the Prairie Air Show®.
