Our volunteers are the soul and spirit of our Air Show, and we invite you to take part in bringing this exciting, top attraction to Peoria. Volunteer as an individual, a family, or a group! No matter what experience level you have, Prairie Air Show needs your help.
Raise money for your non-profit group as a vending participant during Air Show weekend. Whether your group is large or small, we have a spot for you!
Here is some helpful and important information that you will need to know prior to volunteering or vending. Please take a moment to thoroughly review this information, including the Prairie Air Volunteer and Vending Guidelines. Then, sign up online or return the Registration Form to the Volunteer Coordinator at one of our meetings.
Also, please download and sign our Air Show Emergency Contact Form and return it to the Volunteer Coordinator. All volunteers must complete this form before starting any work for the Prairie Air Show.
2010 Air Show Dates and Times:
- Friday, July 23rd: Night Show to Benefit the USO of Illinois
Gates open (V.I.P.): 5:00 P.M.
Gates open (General Public): 5:30 P.M.
- Saturday, July 24th & Sunday, July 25th
Parking Lot opens: 8:30 A.M.*
Gates open: 9:00 A.M.* Show starts: 12:00 P.M.* - Weekend Check-in Information
Volunteer/Vending check-in is from 7:00 A.M. – 8:00 A.M.*+
Volunteers must be on-site, checked in, and at their stations by 8:15 A.M.*+
Vending participants must be on-site, checked in, and at their booths by 8:30 A.M.*+
*Times subject to change.
+Please give yourself plenty of driving time to allow for traffic, road closures, or detours.

Volunteer Areas to Consider
Staffing a Food, Beverage, Ice Cream/Snack, or Novelty booth as a group is a great way for your club or organization to work together in a fun and festive atmosphere – with the added benefit of making money, as a percentage of the gross sales from your booth will be donated to your organization.
